The courses are designed for English speakers. As English and Danish are quite different languages, in most of the courses I speak in English, so it will be easier for you to understand the main concepts, and it will make the transition to Danish smoother and easier to understand.

No previous knowledge of Danish is required. The first course is for absolute beginners (A1). We will start from the absolute basics. However, the second course is also tailored for advanced beginners (A2). Combined, all the fundamentals of the Danish language will be extensively covered.  

The topics we cover are:

• Pronunciation: you will learn from a native speaker how to pronounce the most difficult sounds in Danish.
• Vocabulary: you will learn the most common vocabulary used in Danish in many daily situations that you can encounter.
• Grammar: by the end of the courses you will be able to master the most important grammar concepts, so that you will understand the logic behind the Danish language. 
• Expressions and Idioms: you will remain fascinated by some of the Danish expressions and idioms you can use to impress your friends.
• Culture and lifestyle: learning the Danish culture will allow you to really connect with the locals and to understand how Danish think.

I advise you to watch the sessions in order, as the courses provide you with a sequential and logical learning path.
